The cottages have been painstakingly plucked from various villages in Kerala and transplanted. Guests can explore the backwaters on transformed kettuvallams (traditional rice boats converted to cozy houseboats) even spending a whole night on the lake. Right on the bank of the lake is the swimming pool with a jacuzzi enclosure - a real magical viewing spot of the lake and horizon. Ayurmana, the 200 years old nalukettu (four sided mansion) provides ayurvedic care and yoga sessions. The medicinal plants include tulsi, neem, Vicks plant, eucalyptus, devadaru, henna, "panikurcka", "kacholam", mehendi, and spices like tamarind, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and pepper.
